Huon is looking for a motivated Farm Attendant who enjoys working on the water to join their Lighting and Electrical team at Port Huon on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster.
The role
Working in a small team of 3, this role is predominately based on the water. You will:
Install and remove equipment used in the lighting program.
Inspect, repair, and maintain lighting equipment, ropes, buoys and cable conduit.
Engage in pressure washing of lights, cables, and ropes during the maintenance phase of the program.
Respond to light outages efficiently and in a timely manner.
This exciting opportunity is full-time, operating on a 7 on, 7 off roster working Wednesday to Tuesday each fortnight.
About you
You will have:
Strong time management skills and the willingness to learn new skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
Strong ability to adapt, deal with uncertainty, and remain calm in a changing environment.
Underwater lighting experience or an Aquaculture background would be viewed favourably.
Coxswain and Forklift Ticket desirable
