You will be part of a high-performing Corporate team in Brisbane, working closely with experienced and respected Partners on a broad range of transactions, advisory matters and strategic commercial projects.
The Role
This position offers exposure to a broad range of corporate and commercial work, including:
* Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
* Equity and debt capital markets transactions
* Corporate advisory matters
* Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
* Commercial arrangements and contract negotiations
* Corporate governance advice
* Corporate restructures and business reorganisations
* Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements
You will have the opportunity to take a hands‐on role in matters, working directly with clients and contributing to the delivery of practical, commercially focused advice across a variety of industries and sectors.
About You
We are interested in speaking with corporate lawyers who are looking to continue developing their technical skills within a collaborative and client-focused team. Ideally, you will have:
* 4 -7 years' PAE in Corporate & Commercial law
* Experience across M&A, corporate advisory and commercial transactions
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Exposure to corporate governance and commercial contracting matters
* A commercial and pragmatic approach, with a genuine interest in understanding client objectives
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
