Insurance Solicitor / Senior Associate
Exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our Insurance Group in Brisbane.

About the role:
* Providing clients with legal advice on indemnity, liability, quantum and third party contribution
* Regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes
* Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
* Attending settlement conferences and mediations
* Instructing counsel at court applications and trials
* Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
* Effective communication with stakeholders to achieve valued customer experience outcomes
* Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy
* Managing prospective client relationships
* Continual professional development and managing MCLE requirements
About you:
* 2+ years' PQE
* A desire to be an integral member of a strong, cohesive and down to earth team
* Excellent work ethic and problem solving skills
* Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
* A genuine commitment to customer experience
* Previous exposure to Business Development and a natural ability to build strong client relationships
* Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously
* Interested in establishing a long-term successful career with Colin Biggers & Paisley
* Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
* Commercial acumen
* A strong, plain language communication style
* Previous experience in managing workers' compensation common law claims highly desirable
