Facilities Maintenance Specialist Job Description
Maintenance of facilities, equipment and grounds is vital to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for residents. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities to guarantee they remain operational and secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure regular maintenance of plant, equipment, buildings and services to prevent breakdowns and maintain continuous operation.
* Keep up-to-date records of all chemicals used in maintenance activities and adhere to relevant health and safety regulations.
* Maintain the grounds in a tidy and well-organized state.
* Identify necessary preventative maintenance tasks, complete them and document schedules.
* Guarantee that all maintenance activities are completed within legal requirements and documented in relevant registers.
Requirements
* A general background in maintenance or handyman skills.
* Desirable experience in gardening, painting and general maintenance.
* Experience in supervising or coordinating maintenance programs would be advantageous.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Current First Aid & CPR certification.
