The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a senior leader to drive the development and delivery of state-wide rehabilitation services.
About the Role
* Provide strategic leadership for the Youth Justice Statewide Rehabilitation Service, including coordination of clinical governance and evaluative activities.
* Lead review and continuous improvement across psychosocial and youth offending programs and services, setting goals and accountability measures.
* Oversee quality practice assurance processes ensuring operational service integrity by observing and providing feedback to teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement criminogenic interventions that promote positive behaviour change and rehabilitative outcomes for young people.
* Work closely with executives and teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Identify and address systemic barriers to effective service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Recognised expertise in criminogenic intervention and evidence-based assessment, intervention and multi-disciplinary case management.
* A significant record of achievement in developing system enablers to support complex multi-disciplinary service delivery and experience in professional leadership.
* Able to demonstrate achievement in quality-focused and high-impact roles with expert understanding of complex systems and quality care principles.
Qualifications
* Registration as a Psychologist or Eligible for membership of Australian Association of Social Work or Master's degree in psychotherapy.
* Credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse or Registered as an Occupational Therapist.
* A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
