We're looking for an
energetic and passionate Child Care Educator
to join our
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
team on a
Permanent Part-Time basis (17.5 hours per week)
. You'll work
Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
, across two welcoming school communities:
* 3 afternoons at St John the Baptist, Woy Woy
* 2 afternoons at Kincumber Public OSHC
In this role, you'll bring creativity and enthusiasm to help children learn, play, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. You'll assist the Coordinator in planning engaging activities, build positive relationships with families, and step into the
Responsible Person
role when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement the My Time, Our Place Framework for school-aged children.
* Act as the Responsible Person when required.
* Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs.
* Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment in line with regulations and policies.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with young or school-aged children.
* Cert III in Children's Services/OSHC or working towards (desirable but not essential).
* Current Working With Children Check.
* Completion of 'Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm' (mandatory for Responsible Person role).
