Perioperative Services Manager
Calvary Adelaide is seeking to appoint two experienced perioperative leaders to the positions of Perioperative Services Manager. These are exciting opportunities to join our clinical leadership team at Calvary Adelaide Hospital in newly created roles. The theatre suites are spread over two floors, and allocation to a specific floor will depend on the applicant's experience and interest.
Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, these roles will work closely with clinical and executive teams to drive service improvements, optimize patient outcomes, and foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and supporting the perioperative team, including CSSD and administrative roles.
2. Ensuring safe and efficient scheduling, theatre utilization, and patient flow.
3. Overseeing staffing, rosters, and performance across the perioperative suite.
4. Collaborating with the executive team to achieve strategic goals.
5. Promoting a culture of compassion and respect while delivering excellent healthcare.
The successful applicant will:
- Demonstrate leadership in perioperative or acute care settings.
- Have a well-developed understanding of clinical risk, accreditation standards, and patient safety.
- Possess proven interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Support and lead change effectively.
- Be committed to delivering first-class healthcare.
- Be eager to be part of a clinical leadership team that fosters a positive workplace culture and respect.
- Hold current AHPRA registration with no conditions.
