A reputable logistics company is seeking an MR truck driver to join their team

Join the tight knit team with a well-known and reputable logistics company based in Fyshwick, Canberra. Your new company prides themselves on having highly trained staff and are currently seeking experienced MR Drivers to join their hard-working team in the new year.
Your new role
Shift gears into your new job Your new role will see you responsible for:
* Driving the 12 pallet Pantech truck in a safe and experienced manner
* Delivering freight to key businesses in the ACT and surrounding areas.
* Assist with loading and unloading both by hand and with trolleys/ pallet jacks
* Maintain the general cleanliness of the trucks including the driver cab and cargo bed.
* Complete all necessary paperwork for deliveries and provide great customer service
What you'll need to succeed
Do you have what it takes? To be successful in your application for this position you will need:
* Experience driving around the Canberra area, especially backing into tight loading docks/driveways
* A current MR or HR License and experience driving MR/HR trucks
* Be neat and presentable whilst representing the company
* A valid white card and asbestos awareness ticket will be held in high regard
* A functional fitness assessment including a drug and alcohol test will be required in order to transfer temporary to permanent after your probation period.
