The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Lead and working alongside your fellow Day Shift Fitters from Monday to Friday, 6.45am-3.15pm your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage).
* Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
* Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic, leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing.
* Drive a high-quality standards and culture.
About You
* Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
* Experience in high-speed Manufacturing, 24/7 production environments (3-5+ years)
* Maintenance experience, preventative maintenance planning and corrective maintenance systems
* Ability to troubleshoot control systems and mechanical faults on equipment.
* A good understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, air systems.
* Team player with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
* Be able to meet requirements of Orora's pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
