Are you ready to start a career in banking? IMB's Picton branch is looking for someone to work full time (temporary contract, covering approximately 12 months of leave). This opportunity is a great foot in the door for a recent graduate or someone looking to start in a new industry.
About the role
* Having conversations and interactions with customers via all channels, including face to face, phone and online and helping them with their banking and insurance needs and enquiries
* Exploring new opportunities to find the right financial solutions that may improve their position
* Using various technologies, systems and digital platforms
* Cash handling, balancing and administrative duties
* Working with your Branch Manager and teams to collectively achieve the goals and objectives
* Maintaining a high level of operational adherence in line with company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
About you
* Availability to work full time Monday - Friday
* Experience in customer service and cash handling
* A learning mindset and ambition to grow
* An aptitude for technology and proficient in MS Office programs/apps
* Honesty and integrity and take pride in diligently following procedures and policy in a regulated financial environment
* A flexible approach in the workplace, can take initiative, prioritise work and problem solve to complete daily work requirements
* A genuine desire to help people, work directly with customers as well as work with and support a team
* The willingness to travel within the region as required for training or relief purposes.
