About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager (RN) with a strong clinical background and a proven track record in leading high-performing aged care homes. This role is suited to a confident leader who can balance clinical oversight with operational performance and people management.
You will be responsible for overseeing the home across all key areas, including clinical care, compliance, workforce management, and occupancy. This position requires a hands‐on leader who can drive standards, build a positive team culture, and ensure high-quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the home across clinical, operational, and financial performance.
* Drive a strong team culture, focusing on staff engagement, retention, and development.
* Oversee clinical care delivery, ensuring best practice and high standards are maintained.
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
* Manage occupancy targets and support admissions through strong clinical assessment.
* Monitor and improve operational efficiency across all departments.
* Support and mentor clinical leaders, including Care Managers and RNs.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
Key Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong clinical background (RNIC/Care Manager experience).
* Minimum 4–5 years' experience as a Facility Manager or General Manager in aged care.
* Proven ability to lead teams and build a positive, accountable culture.
* Strong understanding of clinical governance, compliance, and quality standards.
* Experience managing occupancy, admissions, and clinical assessments.
* Ability to balance clinical priorities with operational performance.
* Confident, proactive leader with strong decision-making capability.
