Overview
The Role: We are looking for a talented and experienced software engineer to join the Workspaces team as a technical leader. As the technical leader of the team, you'll work closely with Product and Design to decide on the overall technical direction of the product. A willingness to leverage data, experimentation, and user research when making decisions is important. You'll need to collaborate with other technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business as the Workspaces product interfaces with many other domains. Ideally you're comfortable working across the stack with a strong sense of quality on both frontend and backend, balancing quality with project timelines.
What You'll Own
* Lead engineering efforts by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing technology solutions as part of the Workspaces product.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions for Workspaces users.
* Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation of performant backend solutions to testing, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure.
Who We're Looking For
* 6+ years of Software Engineering experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Ability to design durable, extensible systems while also delivering a quick first version to validate and iterate.
* Proficiency in full-stack development, familiarity with Web, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, AWS).
* Experience in data-driven optimization, including databases, data modeling, and data analysis tools (SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
* Experience in conducting experiments and A/B testing to evaluate growth strategies, features, and user experiences, and iterating based on data-driven findings.
