About Us:
At TRACKS Care, we are dedicated to providing culturally safe, person-centred disability support services. We are currently seeking passionate and committed Support Workers to join our casual pool. If you have a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and are looking to work in a fulfilling, meaningful role, we want to hear from you
The Role:
As a Casual Support Worker at TRACKS Care, you will have the opportunity to work with like-minded participants, providing essential support to help them achieve their goals. We are looking for people who are eager to make a difference and have the flexibility to take on a variety of shifts based on their availability and the needs of our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support for daily living and community access
* Assist participants to achieve their individual goals
* Use technology for record-keeping and communication
* Foster a safe, respectful, and culturally appropriate environment
* Work collaboratively with a team of passionate support professionals
What We're Looking For:
* Cultural Competency is a must – we work with diverse communities, and understanding cultural needs and values is crucial.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with participants and their families
* Experience in using technology for record-keeping and reporting; experience with Flowlogic as a CRM is beneficial but not essential
* A genuine passion for the disability support sector – we're looking for people who love what they do and are committed to making a real difference
* Patience, empathy, and connectedness – we are seeking individuals who approach every day with dedication and care
* We value those who are passionate, not just those looking for a paycheck – if you're in it for the money, this is not the right role for you
* An understanding of different disability types and the ability to tailor your approach based on individual needs
Additional Requirements:
Current or ability to obtain the following:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
* Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* NDIS Orientation Modules
* Driver's Licence
If these checks or certifications are not already held, we are happy to support you with the links to complete them.
What We Offer:
* Exciting upcoming projects within the disability sector
* Flexibility in working hours – we take into account your availability and preferences
* A supportive and inclusive work environment where you can grow and make a real impact
* Regular interviews will be conducted over the next two weeks
How to Apply:
To express your interest, please send through a cover letter highlighting your interests, hobbies, and skill sets for working with different disability types. Be sure to include your availability and why you are passionate about working in the disability support field.
We look forward to hearing from individuals who share our commitment to providing quality, compassionate care for people with disabilities.
