Domestic Grain Logistics Coordinator Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to coordinate grain logistics within the domestic market. This role is ideal for experienced professionals and recent graduates looking to start or advance their careers in the agricultural industry.
The successful candidate will plan and implement grain flows, ensuring timely and accurate execution of domestic orders. They will work closely with domestic customers, logistic providers, and storage facilities to manage grain availability and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grain Scheduling and Logistics: Plan and implement grain flows to meet sales and purchase obligations.
* Work closely with domestic logistics providers and storage facilities to manage grain availability and quality.
* Customer Communications: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, transport providers, and storage facilities to ensure smooth grain movements and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Contract Administration: Maintain accurate records, process invoices, resolve claims, and assist with month-end reconciliation.
* Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal policies and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, log non-compliance issues, and support quality management initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Demonstrated accountability and attention to detail.
* Experience in grain logistics, agricultural industries, or a logistics role is a plus but not essential.
* Recent graduates with a relevant degree and a keen interest in logistics and agriculture are encouraged to apply.
