About the Role
This role involves acting as the key liaison contact for contractors and suppliers, handling sales, invoicing, requisitions, providing reports, minute-taking, filing, maintaining records, and managing the department budget.
You will also assist the Facilities Asset Project Coordinator and Facilities Asset Manager in maintaining the Consolidated Programmed Maintenance Planner and organizing planned inspections.
About Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organization, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven experience using computer software related to budgets and maintenance in a Windows environment.
* The ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a busy environment.
* An understanding of and ability to apply policies and procedures.
* Experience working in a correctional environment involving contact with prisoners, which may include working in non-traditional capacities due to the layout of the Centre.
