We are seeking a highly skilled Health Safety and Environment Specialist to join our team in Dampier, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations.
The role will involve overseeing daily risk management, conducting regular inspections and audits, providing safety coaching to site supervisors and subcontractors, and maintaining accurate records of safety performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 and relevant environmental legislation, as well as experience with permit-to-work systems and safety reporting tools. A Cert IV or Diploma in WHS is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee HSE compliance and support operational safety initiatives
* Conduct toolbox talks, inspections, investigations, and audits
* Provide safety coaching to supervisors and subcontractors
* Maintain and report on safety KPIs and regulatory requirements
* Support a proactive and engaged safety culture across site teams
Requirements:
* Minimum Cert IV or Diploma in WHS
* 3+ years of HSE experience – preferably in construction and/or marine infrastructure
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 and environmental legislation
* Experience with permit-to-work systems and safety reporting tools
* Ability to influence and guide teams in a site environment
Roster and Benefits:
* 20:8 FIFO swing with 1 rostered day off per swing
* Standard day shift (6AM–4PM); night shift starts 6PM
* Preference for local hires from Karratha or Dampier
* FIFO available from Perth; other airports may be considered if required
* All accommodation and meals are provided onsite
