Windermere is an independent community service organisation with a statewide focus to help those who need it most. Our support comes in many forms across varying locations; we work together to find the best solutions for the varied and complex issues faced by children, families and individuals in our community. With a focus on intervention, prevention, education and recovery, we aim to get in early to make a difference in the areas of: 1. Family Wellbeing to create positive behavioural changes, respond to violence and/or neglect to enable people of all abilities to actively participate in their community 2. Development & Early Childhood Education including support to individuals and children with disability & developmental delays and a range of childcare services 3. Assistance and support for victims of natural disasters, trauma, assault and/or violent crime 4. Community service responses aimed to meet emerging need. Our services are funded through government contracts and fee for service business areas.
