About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living needs, including personal care, grooming, and mobility. You will also provide companionship and help residents stay socially and emotionally engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
* Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
* Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes or concerns to the senior clinical team.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include a relevant Certificate III qualification and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. A current National Police Certificate and NDIS check are also required.
