Job Description
* Lead and supervise a team of Sourcing Officers and Contracts Specialists (team of 4).
* Apply category management principles to drive sourcing strategy and business outcomes.
* Initiate and lead category and sourcing initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Run and oversee RFPs / tenders, commercial negotiations and contract awards.
* Provide oversight across the full contract lifecycle, ensuring governance and compliance.
* Identify consolidation and savings opportunities across key spend categories.
* Review category trends, demand and supplier performance.
* Drive continuous improvement across the Supply function.
* Oversee Modern Slavery obligations and reporting for Supply.
* Ensure effective use of SAP, SharePoint and approved ERP systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sourcing and Contracts Supervisor should have:
* Commercially minded sourcing or category management professional
* Background in mining, construction or project-based environments
* Strong SAP capability with solid Excel skills
* Strategic approach to sourcing and consolidation
* Confident leading and influencing a small team while remaining hands-on
