Clinical Reporting Nurse | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Fully Remote

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including primary care, allied health, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.

In December 2024, we began providing health, mental health, and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention Network (IDN). Our team of nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals offer a range of healthcare services, including health assessments, chronic disease management, health promotion, wound management, immunizations, and other primary health interventions. HCA also launched a 24/7 Virtual Care Centre (VCC), offering remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations to enhance onsite care for detainees.

This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and relevant information, reports, and data to the Department of Home Affairs and other key stakeholders relating to individuals in detention facilities and community residences. The position supports transparency and compliance and effective oversight of client care and services.

The role also contributes to maintaining high standards of care by identifying and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate teams, ensuring risks are addressed promptly and quality outcomes for clients are consistently achieved. This is fully remote role, requiring the successful candidate to have an appropriate home set-up including reliable internet connection. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by:

* Delivering accurate, timely, and up‐to‐date information, reports, and data, ensuring all outputs meet required standards.
* Responding promptly to enquiries, working collaboratively to resolve matters, and fostering strong partnerships that support smooth and efficient operations.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of services by identifying and escalating issues or concerns to the appropriate teams to support high‐quality client outcomes.
* Maintaining effective relationships through clear, consistent, and professional communication with the Department of Home Affairs and other stakeholders.

Let's talk about you:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Nursing and have current, unconditional AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1). You will bring strong clinical knowledge alongside well‐developed analytical, reporting, and clinical decision‐making skills.

You will have a minimum of three years' clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience working in a corporate or complex health environment is highly regarded and will be considered an advantage.

You will be a collaborative team player with the ability to clearly present written medical and clinical information to non‐medical audiences. Strong communication skills are essential, along with excellent verbal and written proficiency. An understanding of politically sensitive health services and the ability to operate with discretion and professionalism is highly valued. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.

You'll bring your passion for health care and be rewarded with:

* A chance to work within a well-respected Australian organisation with over 1000 employees, including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
* An opportunity to be a part of a close-knit, collaborative team that works well with all stakeholders involved.
* A varied and rewarding career in a unique healthcare environment.
* Birthday leave - this is your paid, special day off to celebrate, relax and make the most of your birthday!

To make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in your care apply for a role with us today.

If you have any questions or further assistance about the role, please contact Ana Colina at ana.colina@primaryhsa.com.au

Veterans are encouraged to apply. At HCA we are committed to embracing diversity and committed to providing a safe working environment.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
