Overview
An exciting career awaits you at ASC, Australia\'s submarine company - the sustainer of Australia\'s conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines in the AUKUS partnership. We are seeking skilled trades individuals to undertake long-term, world-leading training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S. Placements commence in March 2026 and will be between 18 - 24 months in duration.
Responsibilities
* Ensures production facilities work is accomplished on schedule. Ensures through training, supervision, surveillance, and audits that the division meets all technical requirements as defined in approved procedures, plans, and instructions.
* Oversees Administrative Support, Ship/Sub maintenance and repair production support to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications, proper funding appropriation, and procurement of materials and equipment needed to support major acquisition and maintenance programs.
* Works closely with the Production Resources Department, Operations Department and Support Departments leadership to develop and execute annual division budgets to support shipyard requirements.
* Participates in and conducts long-range, intermediate, and emergent planning for the department\'s overall goals.
* Determines availability of manpower resources, facilities requirements, and other support functions essential to the accomplishment of the project.
Eligibility Criteria
* An ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 defence clearance
* Proven ability to plan/manage/execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
* Experience leading multi-discipline teams in high-stakes environments.
* A degree in engineering, nuclear science, or a related technical field.
* Certification/s in Project Management.
* Completion of NAVSEA or Navy nuclear training programs.
* Ability to coordinate across departments (engineering/production/safety).
* Experience working with senior leadership and external agencies.
During deployment, you will receive on the job training combined with instructor led classroom training. This training program and work is carried out in accordance with company and US Navy processes and procedures.
At the completion of your deployment, you will return to Western Australia (WA) to carry out the planning, management, and in-water maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines. Repatriation to WA is non-negotiable, so please consider this when applying.
