Your Role Would you like to be part of a team where the work you invest yourself in is truly meaningful and fulfilling?
You will have the opportunity to positively influence the lives of people with disability.
You will provide professional support utilising your skills and experience across all areas of a person's life, contributing to the individual's positive experiences and outcomes.
There will be opportunity to grow your knowledge and skills base as we evolve our Behaviour Support services.
Our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners are passionate about delivering a full range of services including; developing behaviour support plans that respond to the individual needs of clients whilst providing person-centred education to clients and their support networks.
You will join our team in providing individualised behaviour support strategies with the values of a strengths-based approach and evidence informed practice.
Your Experience Your experience and knowledge working with individuals, their families, staff and other professionals will contribute to our person-centred approach.
You have worked with and are passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals and aspirations.
You will be highly motivated and person-centred, with a high level of self-awareness.
Role Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work, Positive Behaviour Support or equivalent Current NDIS Worker Screening Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) First Aid and CPR Current Australian Driver's License Child Safe Environments Through Your Eyes or Responding to Abuse and Neglect NDIS Quality, Safety and You Orientation Module Demonstrated experience applying person-centred practice An understanding of regulated restrictive practice Member of the DEAI (Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated), BSPA (Behaviour Support Practitioners Australia) or an allied health professional body or association.
Recognition with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission as a Behavioural Support Practitioner.
