Experienced Medical / Allied Health Receptionist needed in Ballina for immediate start.
Discover Chiropractic Ballina is looking for a recent team member in the role of medical receptionist. The clinic has been established for over 30 years and is a busy hub for healthcare. The right person will work in a clinic with 2 chiropractors, a remedial massage therapist, dietician, and a speech pathologist. We need a receptionist to join our existing receptionist to work on Monday mornings, Tuesday midday, as well as Wednesday afternoons, for a minimum of 15 hours a week. Supporting our existing team members if an absenteeism occurs will also be required.
Past experience in medical or allied healthcare is required. Excellent communication and friendliness are vital, as you are the face that greets every one of our patients. We are a fully digital office, so having abundant computer skills will make your life easier when transitioning into the new position. Ideally, past experience with Medicare, health funds, DVA, My Aged Care, and Work Cover, and liaising with radiology, will be ideal.
A minimum of 1-2 years of medical or allied healthcare receptionist experience is required for this position.
Experience with any 2-3 of the following systems is acceptable: Medicare, health funds, DVA, My Aged Care, Work Cover, or radiology liaison.
We will start the new team member as soon as possible, as our current team member has had to make some important life changes.
