We are currently recruiting for a full time experienced Regional Manager - Network Distribution. The position is NSW based, and is responsible for our NSW business. Reporting to Defence Bank's Head of Network Distribution, this role is responsible for leadership of our Branch Network in NSW to achieve our organisational objectives and agreed performance outcomes.
**Description**:
What you will do.
Contribute to the design and ongoing review of the branch distribution plan in a contemporary and evolving setting featuring changing member needs and external market influences.
Execute the network distribution strategy which sets out the role of the branch and branch teams in a digital and omni channel setting. This includes people capabilities, processes, policies, promotion and product distribution.
Leading Branch Managers and Member Consultants to deliver outstanding member service and achieve agreed performance goals both in branch and over the phone via member calls (inbound and outbound).
Providing team leadership by establishing direction and alignment to achieve agreed goals, motivate and foster high performing teams, resolve issues and provide coaching and mentoring to develop skills and manage performance.
Managing branch operations in accordance with Defence Bank's policies and processes, to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation, managing and mitigating risk, fraud, and safety of branch, staff and members.
Identifying an acceptable level of lending risk, within approved delegation and pricing parameters and in line with Defence Bank's risk appetite.
Proactively advocating for and promoting Defence Bank by building relationships within Defence Community, Defence Industry partners, and within the broader community to build and enhance awareness of our service offerings and grow our member base and product portfolios.
Supporting other regions across Defence Bank if required.
**Skills and Experiences**:

**You have**:
At least three years' experience leading a sales team ideally within a lending environment and financial services
Vocational Qualification in financial services, sales, or team leadership.
Tier 2 qualification is preferred but not required.
The ability to travel both intra and interstate.
**Demonstrated experience or skills in**:
Building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Adhering to and achieving local sales/business development plans.
Facilitating presentations to small and large groups.
Motivated to achieve agreed goals.
Picking up new concepts quickly.
Time management with the ability to handle unplanned interruptions.
Using Microsoft Office.
