Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care such as showering, dressing, and grooming to Participants.
* Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning, and laundry.
* Providing social and transportation support, including driving Participants to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in the community health sector (minimum of 1 year experience as support worker essential)
* Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care.
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Current National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old
* Current Full Driver's License
* Current Covid-19 Immunisation Certificate
* NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Spanish speaking - preferred

This is a casual position with flexible hours, including day shifts, morning shifts, and weekend availability.
