Lead Retail Sales Team
The role of a Department Manager is pivotal in driving sales and customer satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for leading their team to achieve exceptional results, while also inspiring customers to return.
To succeed in this position, one must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Leadership skills are also essential, including the ability to delegate tasks, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to coach and develop their team members.
In addition to leadership skills, the ideal candidate should be organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks based on the needs of the fast-paced business, and have strong analytical skills to formulate plans that maximize sales.
They must also be driven and ambitious, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve. A minimum of 1 year experience in a retail management role is preferred, as well as strong leadership experience to lead a large format team effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Support and lead colleagues to achieve superb results and inspire customers to keep coming back
* Develop sales strategies and put plans in place to support the team and store success
* Ensure department team provides excellent customer service and maximizes sales opportunities
* Work together with the store Visual team to ensure products are displayed according to company guidelines
* Recruit, train, and develop Sales Advisor team with the Store Manager
* Plan staff scheduling and organize the department to meet business needs and maximize profitability
* Ensure store routines, policies, and guidelines are met to assist in loss prevention and safety
* Set an example for the team by acting as a role model using our values
Required Skills:
