About the role Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program.
The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley.
It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality and privacy to be observed at all times.
Ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multi-disciplinary team.
Good communication skills in relation to other staff, clients and visitors.
Ability to work in porterage, patient handling, cleaning, courier, waste and linen services.
Ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour as applied in the working environment.
