About the role
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Patient Support Services team in a Cleaning role. This is a vital position contributing to the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our hospital environments.
Physical fitness and capability to perform a range of cleaning tasks throughout the entirety of the shift.
Availability to work the 06:00 – 14:30 shift, Monday to Friday.
The Patient Support Services team across both Forbes and Parkes Hospitals consists of approximately 20 staff working in the areas of cleaning, catering, and security. In this cleaning role, you will be responsible for Cleaning of administration areas and staff accommodation rooms, Waste removal throughout designated areas, Receiving and distributing linen across the hospital, managing online linen orders, laundering of mops and cloths, performing other miscellaneous cleaning tasks as required under the relevant award.
You will work closely with other members of the Patient Support Services team and hospital administration staff to ensure accommodation areas are cleaned and prepared for incoming occupants. The successful applicant will be fully supported with on-the-job training using a buddy system, and the broader team will be available to provide ongoing guidance and support.
