Position Overview
Supporting our community with high‐quality, patient‐focused oral health care. We are seeking experienced Dental Assistants to join our growing team across multiple clinic locations throughout the Newcastle and Hunter region. Clinic hours vary slightly by location, operating from either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist the dental team during procedures.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment.
* Support the delivery of high‐quality dental care and provide patients with a seamless, positive experience from start to finish.
* Perform a mix of clinical and administrative duties as directed by the Clinic Coordinator.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Current Dental Assistant Certificate recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia, up to Certificate III, or unqualified but experienced dental assistant.
* Strong competencies in assisting with a wide range of oral health procedures.
* Solid understanding of infection control protocols.
* Well‐developed communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Eligibility and Opening
To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of the visa.
