Idle has an exciting chance for a professional, energetic Baker to join our team of talented chefs and bakers. We are looking for Bakers who have a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering a high level of product and service.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, mixing, and baking breads, pastries, and other baked products.
- Monitoring ovens, adjusting temperatures, and ensuring product consistency.
- Following recipes and production schedules to meet daily demand.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and the production area.
- Working collaboratively within the team to achieve production targets.
Skills and Experience
- Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification; OR at least 3 years’ relevant full-time work experience.
- Demonstrated commercial baking experience.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
