Responsibilities
As a claims solicitor you will manage a portfolio of professional indemnity claims.
Your duties include:
Assisting LPLC Insureds (senior counsel to sole practitioners) with the management and ultimate resolution of claims made against them.
Gathering and recording key information for each claim to evaluate the policy response and assess liability and quantum.
Investigating and resolving non‑litigated claims in‑house.
Instructing and working collaboratively with the LPLC's experienced panel solicitors to develop a strategy to resolve litigated claims.
Qualifications
Successful candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in commercial or insurance litigation.
Experience in property and conveyancing is highly valued.
Essential personal attributes include:
Ability to formulate and implement appropriate claims resolution strategies.
Autonomous decision‑making ability.
High level of maturity and competence.
Strong interpersonal skills.
