Accounts receivable officer (brisbane)

Randstad is seeking an experienced finance qualified to lead an end-to-end accounts receivable operation. In this leadership role, you will oversee day-to-day service delivery, manage operational resources, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and management processes to ensure delivery standards are consistently met.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team, facilitating career planning, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Manage complex, high-sensitivity business issues and competing stakeholder interests.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement innovative business initiatives, compliance frameworks, and process improvement strategies.
• Analyse and report on team performance, manage workforce planning, and provide strategic advice.
• Maintain and regularly review internal control systems to ensure effective risk management and mitigation.

Key Selection Criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience leading team performance, setting clear expectations, giving constructive feedback.
• Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and deliver professional reporting to inform decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues within sensitive environments and exercise high-level discretion.
• Experience in business analysis and implementing innovative business improvement and change strategies.
