Description The ROLE The Macquarie Wharf 6 Redevelopment is a transformative project designed to modernise Hobart’s port infrastructure, expand capacity for Antarctic and commercial operations, and deliver lasting economic and community benefits for Tasmania. The project will provide upgraded berthing, shore power, and enhanced facilities to support larger vessels and future growth, positioning Hobart as a leading gateway to the Antarctic and Southern Ocean. This role is part of The Hazell Brady Joint Venture (HBJV), dedicated to delivering the MAC 6 Wharf Redevelopment with a strong commitment to maximizing benefits for Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity for major marine infrastructure works in Hobart. Skills And Experiences About YOU Must haves Current 'CO Class' ticket for Crane operations Experience operating crawler cranes 5 years relevant experience in civil or marine construction industry. Drivers licence. Construction Industry White Card. Current MSIC card or the ability to apply for one (we will arrange). Current Australian Working Rights. Desirable Experience in any/all of the following Marine Civil Structures Demoltion Piling Experience working over water The role will be primarily operating the 280t crawler crane land side, but there may be requirement to operate from one of our barges on site.
