About the role
EJS Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and fully qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team in Yatala. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining fleet reliability.
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of our fleet of heavy vehicles (Kenworths) and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, and associated components
* Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance across the fleet
* Carry out repairs including brake systems, oil changes, and part replacements
* Conduct thorough inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
* Provide technical advice and support to the operations team
* Maintain accurate service and repair records
* Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and compliance standards
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a fully qualified Diesel Mechanic and A/C Certificate would be an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and heavy vehicle maintenance
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Current driver’s licence, with the ability to operate heavy vehicles
* Relevant trade qualifications and certifications
