Customer Service Leadership
* Oversee daily retail operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Provide product advice on beekeeping equipment and machinery.
* Manage after-sales support, warranty enquiries, and customer follow-up.
Inventory Management
* Implement end-to-end stock control, including quality checks, warehousing, dispatch, and stocktakes.
* Coordinate with suppliers and freight partners to maintain stock levels.
* Ensure accurate picking, packing, and order fulfillment for customers.
Team Development
* Supervise, train, and roster retail, warehouse, and after-sales staff.
* Conduct onboarding, performance discussions, and development planning.
Compliance and Governance
* Ensure compliance with WHS, workplace relations, and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate reporting, cash handling, and internal audit standards.
Product Knowledge
* Oversee the beekeeping machinery product category and ensure staff provide accurate product guidance.
* Maintain strong knowledge of European industrial beekeeping machinery and equipment.
* Liaise with European suppliers and technical partners regarding product information, demonstrations, and training.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Leadership experience in retail operations for at least 5 years.
* Strong background in inventory management, customer service, and team development.
* Experience supervising teams, recruitment, rostering, and performance management.
* Solid computer skills (POS, stock systems, Excel/ERP).
* Specialist machinery and product knowledge.
