Chambers Contracting is a family-owned and operated business seeking heavy duty diesel mechanics to join our team in Broome, WA.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and service machinery
* Fault finding
* Field service
* Working on a range of machinery including but not limited to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, road trains, drill rigs, marine engines and crushing plant equipment
What we're looking for
* Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic trade qualification
* Valid C class driver's license
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools required for heavy equipment maintenance and repair
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex mechanical issues
* Commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical team members
* A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
