Downer's Maintenance & ITS business is proud to be expanding its footprint across South Australia, delivering vital road and asset maintenance and construction services across the Barossa, Riverland and South East Regions, covering approximately 5,600 km of sealed road network. It's an exciting time to be part of a team that's delivering these critical works across the state.
We have positions available for experienced Supervisors to lead our Road Maintenance teams across multiple locations in South Australia including Murray Bridge, Loxton, Naracoorte and Nuriootpa. This role will suit individuals who are passionate about leading and supporting teams success, and; have a high regard for safety in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure safety compliance through toolbox talks, inspections, and risk management.
* Supervise and support crews to deliver scheduled and reactive road maintenance.
* Coach and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
* Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement in maintenance outcomes.
* Monitor budgets and financial close-out activities.
* Scoping and pricing of maintenance activities
Build strong client relationships and ensure timely service delivery.

* Exposure leading and supervising maintenance crews, planning works and working with members of the public
* Drive accountability throughout the workforce
* Commitment to Quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time
* Possess strong skills in planning and scheduling, checking crew work and working with asset management systems.
* A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients and stakeholders
