This listed business is investing in technologies and partnerships that will set the business up for ongoing success into the future.About your new roleReporting to the Group Technology Officer, this role is critical in the effective management and maintenance of OT systems for multiple, large infrastructure assets. As the Senior Control Systems Engineer, you are the interface between the technology team, external vendors and key operational stakeholders.Other key tasks aligned to this role include:Ownership of the OT tech stack, which includes ensuring the reliability, performance and security of systems.Oversee the selection, design and implementation of OT systems in line with business requirements.Provide Project Management skills and leadership for system upgrades & new product implementations.Partner with the Cyber Security Lead to regularly perform security assessments and identifying potential vulnerabilities.Lead regular Continuous Improvement reviews which incorporates a review of processes and policies.Build strong working relationships and clear lines of communication with external vendors and internal stakeholders.About you!• You will hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical / Electronic, Mechatronic engineering, Computer Science or similar.• Will have tangible experience performing the above listed tasks, ideally within the infrastructure, engineering, mining or heavy industry sectors.• You can demonstrate skills across networks, virtualisation platforms, hardware, application software & cybersecurity.• You bring extensive experience in the management of industrial control systems including SCADA / OMCS & PLC's.• You are a team player who has the ability to lead as well as build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders alike.All applicants must be either an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian PR holder.Sound interesting?
