Job Title: Weighbridge Operator
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-orientated Weighbridge Operator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the automated weighbridges, ensuring accurate weighing and recording of all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a computerized weighbridge and associated control of traffic
* Processing incoming and outgoing truck tickets and handling transaction payments
* Promoting and supporting site safety, quality and continuous improvement
* Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility
* Communicating professionally with drivers, contractors, and customers
* Providing new drivers with site inductions
* Managing emails, phone and two-way radio communication effectively
* Site administration duties as directed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in weighbridge operations and administration
* Self-motivation with a strong commitment to safety and quality
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
* Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organisational skills
* Knowledge of mass management requirements an advantage
