Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a high-profile service provider in East Gippsland. GLCH provides an extensive range of health and community services to the people of East Gippsland, whilst actively promoting integrated service provision. Primarily based in Lakes Entrance or Bairnsdale but having a regular presence at other GLCH sites, the role of the Facilities Manager will see you contribute as part of the leadership team in the Corporate Services Team. Reporting directly to the General Manager People and Culture, you will lead the strategic and operational management of our property, buildings, fleet, and grounds teams. This role plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of high-quality health services by maintaining safe and functional environments for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
* Overseeing the maintenance and improvement of facilities, plant, equipment, and fleet
* Managing contractors and service agreements in alignment with compliance and safety standards
* Coordinating capital works and contributing to long-term asset management planning
* Ensuring adherence to legislative, regulatory, and organisational policies, including OH&S and risk management
* Implementing sustainability and environmental efficiency initiatives where applicable
* Leading and supporting a team of facilities and maintenance staff

You will demonstrate a proven ability to manage facilities, procurement, assets, and contractor relationships in line with compliance and safety standards. You will also have experience in delivering operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements.
