About the Role
We are seeking a Clerical In Charge to support our radiology administration team across:
* QTV House Rockhampton
* Capricorn Coast Hospital, Yeppoon
In this role, you will work alongside the Clerical Manager, Chief Radiographer and Chief Sonographer to ensure our reception and administration teams deliver outstanding patient care and efficient service to patients and referring doctors.
You'll play a key part in maintaining the practice revenue cycle, training and supporting administration staff to ensure billings and collections are completed accurately each day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing site clerical teams (rosters, patient bookings, arrivals & payments)
Maintaining practice and clerical presentation standards
Supporting Radiologists and technical staff with service delivery
Billing patients prior to departure & completing end-of-day Medicare/DVA claims
Ongoing training & development of clerical staff
Assisting the Clerical Manager & Site Supervisor with tasks as required

About You
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in radiology, medical, or healthcare administration
Strong leadership skills to guide and support teams
A "can do" attitude with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff
Experience with booking systems (Karisma ideal)
Knowledge of medical terminology and Medicare billing (advantageous)
Full-time position | 76 hours per fortnight | Shifts between 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
