The apprenticeship is 3-4 years.
The TAFE studies are in a block system meaning 3-4 day blocks certain months.
We do all aspects of gardening work including pruning, weed control, hedging & shaping, fertilising, plant selection, planting, soil/compost addition, mulching, irrigation, lawn care and installation etc.Qualifications & ExperienceWe are seeking expressions of interest from horticulture apprenticesNo qualifications required but a general interest in the industry is ideal, and some basic knowledge of mowing lawns preferredSeveral positions available for the right candidates.Preferred Current manual driver's license and vehicle for transport to and from site is required if living in the Sydney region or an agreed upon pick up location if local to the Illawarra (I no license be not far off from obtaining and have another means to be able to get to location)Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAll aspects of horticulture (garden maintenance) and some landscaping workOpportunity to work with well-respected clientsThe successful applicant/s will be able to work in a physical environment, have the right attitude and willingness to learn in a hardworking and supportive team.Well-presented and able to communicate in a professional manner.Comfortable working with tools, including working on laddersWe are looking for people that are positive, passionate, honest, with a strong work ethicEnjoy and thrive working as part of a teamAble to work unsupervisedHas great attention to detailJob Types: Full-time, ApprenticeshipPay: $500.00 – $800.00 per weekWork Location: On the road
