We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director for our centre.
Little Beginnings Medowie has modern, natural environments and a team of dedicated educators.
The founders have over 30 years of experience in the early childhood sector and provide safe, engaging spaces for children to learn, play & grow.

What we are looking for:
Prior leadership experience as part of a management team;
A passion for leading a team and guiding others to reach their full potential;
An Early Childhood Teaching Degree or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards);
A current Child Protection Qualification, First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training) and CPR;
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team and engage with families;
Experience in supervising and supporting the development and delivery of learning programs that cater to children's interests and developmental needs.
The ability to create a positive, nurturing environment while leading and motivating a team of educators to provide exceptional care and education.
You will be asked to disclose any information relevant to your eligibility to engage in activities involving children.

What you will be a part of:
A part of overseeing the daily operations of the centre and assist in leading and building a team of passionate educators to create an inclusive, stimulating, and educational environment for children;
Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging educational programs across the centre, ensuring they align with the needs and interests of the children.
Lead by example, supporting and mentoring educators, encouraging them to contribute to program planning, and encouraging a culture of continuous development and improvement;
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, while supporting the Centre Director in maintaining high-quality care and education standards;
Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues;
Engage in and support regular communication with parents about their child's development;
Conduct Professional Development Reviews on all staff and build continuous improvement plans;
Help the centre to meet or exceed the National Quality Standards.
