Role details The Mackay Base Hospital Finance Unit is seeking applications for a Private Practice Billing Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Your opportunity Support the MHHS Revenue Unit in ensuring revenue processes have been completed for patients by: identifying and accordance with best practice principles and compliant with relevant Financial Management and Audit Standards. About the Team The Finance Unit provides financial leadership, business advice, strategic financial policy and governance to enable Mackay HHS to deliver quality and efficient health services to the community. Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting and Management accounting. The Financial Accounting team includes Revenue, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Assets, and Management Accounting which includes the Activity Based Funding Team and budget team. About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
