About the role
As part of our Group Human Resources Team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing expert HR support, guidance and coaching across a broad portfolio and multiple entities (including Terreco Resources). This is a true generalist role with a strong emphasis on ER/HR and Talent Acquisition.
As our organisation undergoes a significant period of growth and transformation, we are seeking a skilled and adaptable Human Resources Business Partner who possess the ability to quickly establish rapport as a trusted business advisor across our network of diverse and geographically dispersed blue- and white-collar employees.
About the Position
Based primarily from our Yatala Head Quarters, reporting to our Head of Human Resources with an immediate start available in early January, your key responsibilities as our Human Resources Business Partner include:
Collaborate with the Human Resources Department as we implement People and Capability Strategies to support scale and transformation in alignment with our organisational goals.
Provide proactive and professional advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures and employee relations.
Conduct and document any workplace investigations, ensuring that we act with empathy, discretion and procedural fairness at all times - escalating complex matters where appropriate.
Actively contribute to any departmental change initiatives as we strive to become a Center of Excellence - improving HR agility, processes and documentation.
Execute end-to-end Talent Acquisitions, ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience for our candidates, securing top talent who reflect our Core Values - Commit Fully, Bring Your Passion, Embrace Challenge, Keep Growing and Collaborate & Connect.
Required Acumen for success
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and or Industrial Relations.
Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist HR role within heavy industry (essential) - mining services, mining, commercial construction and or civils.
Previous experience supporting global mobility and visa applications.
Inclusive, supportive and adaptable, with an authentic ability to connect and build trust-based relationships and collaborate effectively with business leaders and employees at all levels.
An ethical, credible and commercially astute practitioner who demonstrates the ability to gather information to form well-considered recommendations and advice.
Ability to demonstrate business acumen, connecting people to profit.
Future-focused, self-driven and resilient in the face of change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data analysis
Thorough understanding of employment legislation and best practices in HR
First Aid and Mental First Aid Accreditation (or the willingness to receive training and offer support when required).
