About the Role:
* Managing payroll-related general ledger entries and reconciliations efficiently to ensure accuracy.
* Preparing and processing intercompany journals to streamline financial transactions.
* Ensuring timely and compliant payroll tax and superannuation payments by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations.
* Overseeing vendor payments related to payroll activities to optimize cash flow management.
* Supporting period-end processes and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Helping to streamline payroll-related processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Solid experience in payroll accounting, from general ledgers to tax and compliance.
* Confidence working with high-volume data and multiple financial systems to achieve accurate results.
* An understanding of superannuation, payroll tax, and intercompany accounting principles to ensure effective management.
* Experience in large corporate or fast-paced environments where adaptability and organizational skills are essential.
