Prime Recruitment is currently partnering with a well-respected aged care provider based in Rockingham, seeking a Maintenance Officer / Handyman for a casual position with full-time hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with variety, flexibility, and the chance to support a meaningful cause within the aged care sector.
Responsibilities
- General site maintenance including garden upkeep and cleaning
- Repairing equipment such as hospital beds and minor facility repairs
- Changing light bulbs and completing other small tasks as required
- Using Microsoft Word to complete maintenance logs and reports
- Flexible working hours between 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Key Requirements for Success
- Experience in general maintenance duties (aged care experience highly regarded)
- Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with elderly residents
- Friendly, polite, and respectful communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive a vehicle across metro Perth
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word for documentation
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children Check (desirable)
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
