Our large NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the community.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking 5 highly qualified Policy and Project Manager, working on Women and Family Violence, to join their growing team in Parramatta with flexibility to work remotely from home. This an estimated 5month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within Strategy, Policy and Commissioning Division, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of policy and project management and coordination across multiple critical projects simultaneously, relating to the delivery of client service needs for Women and Family Violence.
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Manage multiple critical projects simultaneously whilst ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and scope
- Assist in the planning and delivery of projects
- Track, monitor and review projects against scope, milestones, deliverables and budgets
- Undertake research, gather, and collate information to assist in informed decision-making outcomes
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships facilitating collaboration, partnerships, engagement and contribution of ideas
- Provide a wide range of secretariat functions, including arranging meetings
- Preparation of high-level documentation including briefs, correspondence, and reports
- Identify emerging trends and issues, mitigating risks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Tertiary Qualifications in Projects, Policy or an equivalent field
- Previous intergovernmental projects experience desirable
- Passionate about Women and Family safety
- Public Sector, Community Services, Women and Family Violence policy experience highly advantageous
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid analytical, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
