The Role
The Business Support Officer assists the Manager Corporate Services in managing human resources, financial management, asset management, and administrative functions. Working knowledge of Compass events management is highly desirable. This role places significant emphasis on workforce management, training and support of administration staff, along with ensuring the accurate and timely payment of accounts in compliance with departmental policies and procedures .

o Demonstrated sound human resource management knowledge and skills, including the ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of human resource management systems and processes.
o Demonstrated sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
o Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions.
