Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the service desk team, contributing to IT strategy development, and ensuring the effective management of IT infrastructure and support services. This includes:
* Guiding the Service Desk Team: Providing direction and delegating tasks to the service desk team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
* Contributing to IT Strategy: Developing comprehensive IT strategies that align with business objectives.
* Ensuring IT Infrastructure: Managing the administration, maintenance, and development of servers for optimal performance and high availability.
* Maintaining Quality of Desktop Support: Ensuring the quality of desktop support for end users through efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
* Configuring Backup and Continuity Solutions: Configuring and verifying backups and business continuity solutions to prevent disruptions to business operations.
* Designing Networks and Servers: Designing networks and servers that cater to current and future needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* IT Degree or Relevant Experience: Possess an IT degree or relevant experience in a related field.
* Networking and Switch Configuration: Develop networking and switch configuration skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
* VMware vSphere and Backups: Familiarity with VMware vSphere and backup software to manage virtual environments.
* Software License Management: Skilled in software license management to optimize costs and ensure compliance.
* SSO Integration and Identity Providers: Experience with SSO integration and identity providers to enhance security.
* O365 Administration: Proficient in O365 administration to manage cloud-based services.
* Firewall and Router Technologies: Working knowledge of firewall and router technologies to secure network infrastructure.
